What should I track between neurological appointments?

Keeping a simple log between visits gives your care team real data to work with, instead of relying on memory during a single appointment. It also helps us and your legal or case management team document your recovery accurately over time.

We recommend tracking:

  • Sleep: hours slept and overall sleep quality
  • Symptoms: headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and when they occur
  • Cognitive moments: times you felt foggy, forgetful, or overwhelmed by a task
  • Mood: any noticeable emotional shifts day to day
  • Activity: what you did that day and how your body and brain responded afterward

You don't need anything fancy. A notes app or small notebook works fine. What matters is consistency, since patterns over weeks tell us more than any single day.
