About This Treatment
TBI Telehealth Testing
A traumatic brain injury (TBI), even a mild concussion, can quietly change how you think, remember, and process information. TBI Telehealth Testing is a structured, remote assessment that measures those changes precisely, so you and your care team can understand exactly how your brain is functioning and what support will help most, all from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
What the assessment measures
Using standardized, research-validated tools delivered over secure video, our clinicians evaluate the core cognitive domains most often affected by a brain injury:
- Memory and new learning
- Attention, concentration, and processing speed
- Executive functions such as planning and problem-solving
- Language and word-finding
- Mood and emotional changes that often accompany injury
What to expect
The process begins with a clinical interview about your injury, symptoms, and history. From there you will complete a series of guided tasks and questionnaires. Most testing is completed in one to two sessions, and you will receive a clear written summary of the findings along with practical recommendations for next steps.
Who it's for
This service is ideal for anyone recovering from a concussion, sports injury, fall, accident, or other head trauma who wants an objective picture of their current cognitive functioning, whether the injury happened recently or some time ago.
Delivered by telehealth
The entire assessment is conducted online, so there is no travel required and you can complete it wherever you feel most comfortable and focused.

Our Multidisciplinary Clinical Model
Objective data, coordinated care, and documentation designed for serious injury cases.
Objective Diagnostic Precision
FDA-approved, data-driven testing designed to identify neurological deficits that standard imaging often misses.
Integrated Specialty Care
Neurology, neuropsychology, and rehabilitation working within a single, coordinated clinical framework.
Unbiased, Outcome-Driven Methodology
Clinical evaluations grounded in medical evidence, not referral source or payer type.
Continuity of Care Excellence
Seamless coordination from initial evaluation through rehabilitation and long-term follow-up.
Why These Gaps in Care Matter
These findings explain why fragmented diagnosis, limited follow-up, and disconnected care lead to chronic symptoms—and why coordinated, multidisciplinary neurotrauma care is essential.

"Let me show you why this matters"
Missed and Underdiagnosed
56% of mild TBI cases were not documented as mTBI in ED records.
Source: Powell et al., Arch Phys Med Rehabil (2008).
"Patients whose diagnosis is missed will typically not receive guideline-based treatment, self-care advice, or adequate follow-up care."
— Buchanan et al., Pain Physician (2023).
The Continuity Gap
39% of CT-positive patients had not seen a medical practitioner by 3 months.
Source: Seabury et al., TRACK-TBI, JAMA Network Open (2018).
"TBI is a 'chronic process', not just an isolated event requiring immediate stabilization."
— Masel & DeWitt, Journal of Neurotrauma (2010)
Chronic Symptom Load
21% had persistent post-concussion symptoms at both 3 and 12 months.
Source: Fordal et al., Arch Phys Med Rehabil (2022).
"Evaluation of specific acute symptoms and signs may contribute to the prognosis of persisting symptoms in adults."
— McIntosh et al., JAMA Network Open (2025).
Long-Term Impact
6-Month Recovery
~50% do not recover to pre-TBI levels of health by 6 months.
1-Year Impact
53% report injury-related functional limitations at 12 months.
Source: Maas et al., Lancet Neurology (2022); Nelson et al., JAMA Neurology (2019).
"The lack of coordinated care and follow-up leads to preventable long-term suffering"
